Established in 1953, Troop 130 is one of the longest running continuously active boy scout
troops in the Croatan Trails District.
In the over 50 years of operation, Troop 130 has helped countless boys on their journey to become men.
And of particular significance- over 100 of those boys have reached the rank of Eagle Scout.
The scouts owe thanks to their parents and the many parent volunteers that have contributed in
so many ways to the success of the troop. In particular, the troop is indebted to those parents that have stepped forward
to be scoutmasters and committee members.
